On Wednesday's lesson I had the privilege of watching the beginning scene in theames Bond movie.
James Bond (Daniel Craig):
This character for generations has epitomized class and elegance, along with the man of the situation that can stay calm even i the harshest of moments. All the way through whilst he was fighting, he was wearing pale grey suit and tie. This included leaving a colleague who was dieing, chasing a man with a car and motorbike, jumping on trains and using a crane to stop the man from escaping. He never showed signs of nerves, and panic, but a man that had things under control, even when he was risking his life for the information the man held.
Eve
Moneypenny (Noamie Harris):
She is most certainly not an extreme feminine character. She could be considered to be the male version of a Bond, however she shows more emotion than him. She's composed, and doesn't panic even when she is facing incredibly dangerous situations. However, she does show a sign of weakness. When she is aiming at the man who she and James are chasing, since her shot isn't clear, she doesn't shoot straight away, as according to instructions.
M (Judi Dench):
An organization like hers, M16, has to have a strong composition at all times. She doesn't care that one of her employees is dieing, all she wants is the information. The leader of M16 has to be a cold woman. I wouldn't necessarily call her a cold-hearted woman, but she doesn't show her feelings. Her reaction to James Bond's death isn't visible, but the sound effects of rain tell us that she is crying inside
Excellent level of detail, Sisi. You have really understood how to do this! For example, you specify the range of demanding and sometimes extraordinary physical activities that Bond calmly undertakes whilst remaining unruffled. Very astute on the female characters as well, particularly subtle comments on M not being cold but, rather, reserved and undemonstrative.
